What should be the Obama administration's top priority in its first 100 days?

He can help the country by working on his resignation speech. I am sure it would be better than anything he has said yet.

I totally agree if the 20 million illegals in the country were gone we would be out of recerssion period , but no politician especially obama is going to alienate the illegal vote.

If the borders are closed, then who will work the tough underpaid jobs. People come to this country in search of better opportunities just like your ancestors did. Study your history a bit more to make sure who are the ones entitled to this opinion.

If you close the borders everything will go up. the lettuce, tomato and meat you eat on your burger will go up because American citizens won't pick it up for 3/hour.
if you close the borders nothing from other countries will get in like 90% of the stuff that is at your home made in china. by workers who make $2 a day. Go ahead and have those products made in America by $33/hour employees and see how the cost is affected.

Closing the border is not an option. get used to the cheap labor that illegal immigrants offer to your country. bringing international competitiveness to your country.
If you don't like the fact that they are illegal, then ask your congressman to come up with a work visa available for them since there's NONE right now. forcing them to enter illegally.

That's right! Americans should come first in America! These so called road construction projects won't be worth much if all of the contractors who get the green light hire foreign labor. The laborers must be American!

not the brightest in the box are ye. Mexicans are already leaving, it's the euro-trash that won't leave. By the way Mexicans do the jobs that no one wants (i.e., dishwasher, ditch digger, and the like). The freaking Canadians and Euro-trash are taking the competitive jobs close those borders. But your most likely from Texas or some redneck state, critical thinking is not promoted.
